Seoul, South Korea – Online game publisher Joymax announced
on Thursday that it has acquired fellow Korean developer IO Entertainment.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 2001, IO has
developed titles including "Lost Saga" and "Survival
Project."
Joymax said it expects the deal will provide significant growth
for both its revenues and game communities in 2011.
