New York – Songtrust, a service from Downtown Music that
provides online music publishing administration for independent artists, said
on Tuesday that it has partnered with the Harry Fox Agency, a provider of rights management, licensing and royalty services in the U.S. Under
the deal, HFA will provide Songtrust with outsourced licensing and royalty
administration services, meaning Songtrust artists’ tracks will now be
accessible for potential licensing for use on CDs, downloads, streams,
ringtones, jukeboxes and background music.
