New York – The International Academy of Digital Arts and
Sciences has announced nominees for the 15th annual Webby Awards. The New York
Times received 18 nods, alongside newcomers such as Angry Birds, Flipboard,
SoundCloud, the Old Spice Guy, Antoine Dodson and Arcade Fire. Winners will be
announced on May 3, and honored at an awards ceremony in New York City on June
13 featuring the Webbys’ trademark five-word acceptance speeches.
