Waterloo, Canada – Research in Motion (RIM) (NASD: RIMM) on Monday
announced the release of two new applications for its new BlackBerry PlayBook
tablet, one that enables video chat and another for Facebook. The video chat
app works over Wi-Fi, and lets users place calls via BBID email address, while
the Facebook app provides more native functions like photo uploads and Facebook
chat on the PlayBook.
