Paris – Advertising giant Publicis Groupe announced on
Thursday that it has acquired Airlock, a London-based digital entertainment
agency.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 2001,
Airlock serves clients including the BBC, NBC Universal, Channel 4 and
Wrangler.
The agency will become part of Publicis’ Leo Burnett Group in the
U.K. Publicis has also acquired U.K.-based digital agencies Chemistry, Kitcatt
and Holler.
