Berkeley, Calif. – MOG, the operator of a digital music
subscription service and network of user-penned music blogs, is looking to
raise a new funding round of $25 million to $30 million, All Things D reported,
citing sources.
The pitch for funding reportedly projects the company will
generate $14 million in revenue in 2012.
MOG operates a digital music service
that gives users on-demand streaming access to its entire catalog for a monthly
subscription fee.
The company also operates a network of 1,500 music blogs that
attract some 39 million unique monthly visitors.
Founded in 2005, Berkeley,
Calif.-based MOG previously raised $10 million in February 2010.
