Redwood City, Calif. – Game publisher Electronic Arts on
Tuesday named former University of Alabama running back Mark Ingram as the
cover athlete for its "NCAA Football 12 game," scheduled to hit store
shelves on July 12. Ingram beat out Auburn defensive lineman Nick Fairley,
Oklahoma running back DeMarco Murray and Washington quarterback Jake Locker in
online voting. More than 140,000 votes were cast.
