New York – Barnes & Noble (NYSE: BKS) on Monday introduced
NOOKstudy, a new software application intended to help students manage
eTextbooks, class materials and their own highlights and notes on a PC or Mac.
Set for release in the fall, NOOKstudy works both with and without the
company’s new Nook e-book reader device, and offers the ability to search texts
and user-generated notes, as well as directly access reference sites like
Dictionary.com.
