London – Online dating service and social network
Flirtomatic announced on Wednesday that it has raised $9 million in a third
round of funding, led by Nauta Capital.

Previous investors Doughty Hanson,
Seraphim Capital and company chairman Avi Azulai also participated in the
round.

Founded in 2005, Flirtomatic now counts more than 2.5 million users in
the U.S. and U.K. The company recently launched iPhone and Android apps, and
plans support for BlackBerry and Nokia’s Ovi Store.

Flirtomatic will use the
new funds in part to expand co-marketing efforts with partners including
AT&T, MetroPCS, Virgin Mobile and T-Mobile.
