Irvine, Calif. – Blizzard Entertainment, a unit of Vivendi’s
Activision Blizzard (NASD: ATVI) game publishing unit, said on Tuesday that its
"StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty" sold 1 million copies in its first
day on sale, making it the fastest-selling PC game of 2010 so far. The game,
which was released simultaneously in North America, Europe, parts of South
America and Asia, sold another 500,000 in its second day on sale.
