Sunnyvale, Calif. – Yahoo (NASD: YHOO) has begun to replace its own
search results with those from Microsoft’s (NASD: MSFT) Bing, and later this week will begin
to transition the back-end of Yahoo Search in the U.S. and Canada to be
switched over to Bing. Some searches on Yahoo already feature the text
"Powered by Bing" in small text beneath search results. U.S. and European regulators approved the search alliance between Yahoo and Microsoft in February.
