New York – Fabulis, a social network for gay men, on Wednesday
announced the launch of an upgraded version of its website, the launch of an
iPhone app, and $375,000 in new funding from angel investors, TechCrunch
reported.

The New York-based start-up launched its social network five months
ago, and now counts over 80,000 active members with 5,000 new members signing
up weekly.

The website update adds location-based mobile check-ins, an event
directory, and a group buying feature.
