Denver – Photobucket, the online photo hosting service
partly owned by News Corp. (NYSE: NWS), said on Tuesday that it has named company president
and chief financial officer Tom Munro to the additional position of CEO.
The
company is also migrating its mobile development facilities from Seattle to San
Francisco, a move that will result in 11 layoffs, PaidContent reported.
Denver-based Photobucket merged with Seattle-based Ontela nearly a year ago.
The
company counts over four million uploads per day, and over 100 million
registered users.
