Palo Alto, Calif. – OnLive announced on Thursday that its
streaming-based video game console is now available for pre-order for $99, and
will begin shipping on Dec. 2. OnLive launches with 35 available game titles,
which users can demo, rent or purchase outright. Rentals range in price from
$3.99 (3-day) to $8.99 (5-day), while full "PlayPass" options range
from $4.99 to $49.99. The company also plans to add a monthly flat-rate plan
offering unlimited access.
