Los Angeles – After fellow file-hosting service RapidShare
criticized the methodology of a MarkMonitor report finding it to be the new top
piracy site online, MegaUpload also fought back against the allegations,
TorrentFreak reported. "We provide connectivity between end users and
storage capacity in the cloud, but no content," the company told
TorrentFreak. "We have become the de-facto standard for sending files that
are too big to email. If Mega is a rogue operator as we have been unfairly
labelled by the MPAA and RIAA, then what about Google? What about Yahoo? And
every single ISP?"
