Silver Spring, Md. – Webs, a website creation service
(formerly known as Freewebs), has acquired Pagemodo, a service that helps
companies and individuals create Facebook Pages, TechCrunch reported.
Financial
terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Launched in 2010, Pagemodo counts 60,000
small business customers who have created over 100,000 custom Facebook Pages.
Silver Spring, Md.-based Webs plans to use Pagemodo’s service to enhance a
similar offering it recently launched.
