San Diego – Scensta Media Networks, a unit of Crescent House
Publishing that provides HD LCD digital media screens for out-of-home
advertising, has raised an undisclosed amount of first round financing, led by
Huntington Capital Fund II.

The funds will allow Carlsbad, Calif.-based Scensta
to deploy its screens in Barnes & Noble College bookstores.

Scensta’s
College Bookstore Media Network will deliver live HD media streams to the
stores, and present content specifically designed for college students from local
and national sources.

Barnes & Noble College Booksellers is a large
operator of college and university bookstores, serving schools including
Harvard, Northwestern, Yale, Penn State and Ohio State.
