Washington – The U.S. Department of Justice and Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) yesterday seized another eight domains of websites it alleges are engaged in offering unauthorized copyright or counterfeit goods, TorrentFreak reported.
The move follows the launch of “Operation In Our Sites” in November 2010, when over 70 domains were seized, and a number of similar seizures that have taken place since then.
Sites targeted in Monday’s actions included Re1ease.net; Watchnewfilms.com; Dvdscollection.com; Dvdsetsonline.com; Newstylerolex.com; Mygolfaccessory.com; and Overbestmall.com.
TorrentFreak notes that the initiative has now seized a total of 128 domains.
