Los Angeles – Web production firm EQAL is looking to raise $3.5 million in new funding, about $650,000 of which has been secured thus far, PaidContent reported.
The company, which produced the “Lonelygirl15” Web video series, is now focused on creating blogs and providing social media marketing for celebrities.
Clients include Paula Deen, Alicia Silverstone and Taye Diggs.
The company will use the funds for technology, sales and business development efforts.
