San Mateo, Calif. – Conduit, the developer of a network designed to let Web and mobile application publishers create and distribute their apps, said on Monday it has acquired web publishing and app platform Wibiya.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 2008, Israel-based Wibiya provides web apps for more than 120,000 publishers, including TheStreet.com, TheOnion.com and Philly.com.

“We look forward to amplifying Wibiya’s already impressive reach by pairing it with the power of the Conduit Network,” said Ronen Shilo, the founder and CEO of Conduit.
