New York — AOL is open to charging for premium versions of some of its sites, CEO Tim Armstrong told attendees of a media conference on Monday, as reported by Bloomberg.

“I think content subscriptions on the Internet can be a very viable business,” said Armstrong. AOL, which earlier this year paid $315 million to acquire The Huffington Post earlier this year, might initially look to monetize business-to-business content, Bloomberg said.
