He may already have the platform of a nightly TV show, but Jimmy Fallon also is streaming a live performance tonight on YouTube Presents to help promote his comedy album Blow Your Pants Off. He also will be answering Twitter-submitted questions from his fans, who know him from NBC’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and his long tenure with Saturday Night Live.
Blow Your Pants Off, which will be released Tuesday, captures Fallon’s remarkable ability to affectionately parody musicians.Tracks include “Tebowie,” “Neil Young Sings ‘Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’”, “The Doors Sing ‘Reading Rainbow’” and “Bob Dylan Sings ‘Charles in Charge’”. Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, Justin Timberlake, Eddie Vedder, Big & Rich and Dave Matthews perform on the album but are not expected to join Fallon tonight, June 8 at 8 p.m. EDT.
YouTube Presents is Google’s ongoing series of live performances and interviews. Among the artists currently available in the archives are Def Leppard, Ziggy Marley, the Shins, Counting Crows and Jason Mraz.
