VentureBeat reports: “MobiTV has raised $50 million in funding to expand its pay TV delivery system internationally. Emeryville, California-based MobiTV sells its platform to providers of pay TV, such as cable TV companies and video-on-demand companies, enabling them to provide streaming video services to the TV screens in homes — without the need for a set-top box.”
