San Francisco – Vudu, the streaming movie service owned by
Wal-Mart (NYSE: WMT), said on Thursday that its service will be available on Boxee’s
Web-to-TV platform, including its forthcoming set-top box made by D-Link. Vudu
will be available as a free download for Boxee, and offer thousands of HD
titles for $2 for 2-night rentals.
