London – Footbo, a developer of sports-related sites and
applications, has raised $2.5 million in new funding from Pitango, TechCrunch
reported.
Founded in 2007, London-based Footbo operates a social network for
soccer lovers, and recently debuted "11Runs," a new fantasy baseball
game.
The company soon plans to release iPhone and Android applications for the
new game.
