San Francisco – Web hosting service SoftLayer Technologies
is challenging a subpoena from Sony, for the server logs of a site owned by a
man Sony has accused of distributing code that can be used to hack its
PlayStation 3, Wired.com reported. Records from Twitter, YouTube and PayPal
have already been subpoenaed by Sony in connection with the case, but SoftLayer
says that Sony is asking it to disclose "protected matter."
