Mountain View, Calif. – Google (NASD: GOOG) said this week that it plans
to introduce in-app billing later this quarter for its Android Market, which
distributes apps for mobile devices running the company’s Android operating
system. The move by Google follows Apple’s recent introduction of the ability
for developers to charge users for virtual items and other things from directly
within their applications.
