Redwood City, Calif. – Video game publisher Electronic Arts says
its newly released "Tiger Woods PGA Tour" game generated the largest
first week of retail sales in the 14-year history of the franchise. Based on
internal estimates, the game sold approximately 225,000 units and outperformed
previous week-one record sales by 17% in North America.
