New York – Send the Trend, the operator of a personalized
fashion accessories e-commerce site, has raised $3 million in a first round of
funding led by Battery Ventures, TechCrunch reported.
Founder Collective and a
number of angel investors also participated in the round.
New York-based Send
the Trend’s founders include Christian Siriano, the winner of season four of
Bravo’s "Project Runway."
The company will use the funds for
additional product development, to hire additional staff, and to expand into
new accessories categories.
