Google is seeking a Communications Manager, Music and Artist Partnerships, YouTube to lead communications for YouTube’s Music and Artist Partnerships organization in New York, NY. In this role, you will develop communications strategies, narratives, blog posts, media pitches, FAQs, social plans, and crisis communications, while supporting YouTube music executives and driving proactive storytelling around major cultural moments. You’ll manage relationships with music industry, consumer, business, and new media press, maintain partnerships with record labels, and collaborate across YouTube and Google to communicate the company’s AI offerings for music partners. The ideal candidate brings a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 10+ years of public or media relations experience within the music industry, along with experience in a fast-paced music business environment, strong storytelling and press outreach skills, established journalist and stakeholder relationships, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities. The position offers a U.S. base salary range of $171,000–$247,000 annually, plus a 20% bonus target, equity, and Google benefits.
