– Pandora has signed a deal with consumer electronics firm Pioneer, to bring
its streaming music service to a $1,200 Pioneer in-car navigation system, The
Wall Street Journal reported. Available beginning in March, the system will
require users also own an Apple (NASD: AAPL) iPhone or iPod touch with the Pandora
application installed, as the system will simply detect a user’s settings and
then duplicate them on the navigation system’s screen.
