Pasadena,
Calif. – Perfect Market, a
provider of marketing services for publishers, announced on Wednesday that it
has raised $6 million in its third round of venture capital financing, led by
Tribune Company.
Previous backers Trinity Ventures, Rustic Canyon Partners and
Idealab also participated in the round.
Altadena,
Calif.-based Perfect Market, a spin out of incubator Idealab, offers to help
publishers market their "long tail" content and grow advertising
revenue.
Tribune began using Perfect Market’s services on several of its websites
last year.
Perfect Market will use the funds to expand its sales and marketing
efforts.
