San Francisco
– RMG Networks, the provider of a place-based network of entertainment and
advertising screens, announced on Monday that it has acquired Pharmacy TV, a
video network whose screens are deployed near pharmacist counters in major
grocery and drug store chains.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

San
Francisco-based RMG says its digital entertainment and ad network, which
includes 60,000 screens across in-flight, fitness and other sectors, reaches 25
million consumers monthly.

RMG is backed by digital cinema network National
CineMedia and Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers.

The company said it plans
to accelerate Pharmacy TV deployments in 2010.
