Austin
– Slacker, the provider of an interactive online radio service, plans to launch
an on-demand subscription service in the next few months that will
"combine elements of Pandora, Rhapsody and Spotify," Wired.com
reported. Listeners to the free radio service who pay to upgrade to the coming
offering will have an ad-free experience that provides new features like on-demand
song playback and more fine-tuning of radio station preferences.
