– Zoom Media & Marketing, an operator of out-of-home digital ad networks in
over 10,000 venues, announced Wednesday that it has acquired the assets of
Sports Display, a company that places local ads in such networks.
Financial
terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
New York-based Zoom counts over
25,000 digital screens and over 55,000 billboard locations, which reach over
100 million monthly viewers in fitness centers, restaurants and nightclubs.
Sports
Display has a local ad sales team of over 100, who previously collaborated with
Zoom to sell ads on the company’s network.
The deal marks Zoom’s sixth
acquisition in the past 18 months.
