Calif. – Netflix (NASD: NFLX) said on Monday
that subscribers do the DVD rental service can now download thousands of movies
and TV episodes through their Nintendo Wii game consoles. The two companies
first announced partnership plans in January, and now have officially launched
the service. Streaming is provided at no additional cost to Netflix members who
have a plan starting at $8.99 a month, a Wii console and a broadband Internet
connection.
