Calif. – PubMatic, a provider of online
advertising tools for publishers, announced on Thursday that it has closed a
$7.5 million third round of financing, led by Helion Venture Partners.
backers Draper Fisher Jurvetson and Nexus Venture Partners also participated.
Palo Alto, Calif.-based PubMatic operates a sell-side ad
platform for premium publishers, used by customers including IAC, The
Huffington Post, eBay and TV Guide.
The company, which has now raised a total
of $18 million since its launch three years ago, will use the new funds to accelerate
the adoption of its recently announced set of new offerings.
