– BlackArrow, a provider
of dynamic ad insertion services for video-on-demand platforms, announced on
Monday that it has raised $20 million in a third round of venture capital
financing, led by NDS Group.

Previous backers Cisco, Comcast Interactive
Capital, Intel Capital, Mayfield Fund and Polaris Venture Partners also
participated.

San Jose, Calif.-based BlackArrow
said NDS also partnered with the company to offer integrated advanced
advertising services.

NDS’ security and interactive applications are deployed
on over 100 million set-top boxes and other media devices worldwide.

BlackArrow
said it will use the funds to expand product development and accelerate
deployment of its technology.
