– Tynt
Multimedia, a provider of content sharing analytics services for online
publishers, announced on Monday that it has raised $8 million in its second
round of funding, led by Panorama Capital.

Other investors included Greycroft; Metamorphic
Ventures; iNovia Capital; Disruptive Ventures; Newport Coast Investments; W
Media Ventures; Joe Apprendi; Allen Morgan; Erik Matlick; and Yen Lee.

Founded
in 2007, Calgary-based Tynt offers online publishers a service that provides
data on how their content is being consumed and shared, anonymously capturing
data on all copying activities.

The service is currently being used on over
450,000 websites, by customers including Conde Nast, Hearst, NBC and TMZ.

Tynt
will use the funds to introduce new products, expand sales and marketing, and
drive new partnerships.
