New York – U.S.
newspaper and magazine publisher Hearst is nearing a deal to acquire digital
marketing firm iCrossing for about $375 million, The Wall Street Journal
reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
Scottsdale,
Ariz.-based iCrossing reportedly rejected a prior bid of $250 million from
Hearst, and later retained Bank of America to explore its options.
Clients
using iCrossing’s online marketing services include Seiko Epson, Coca-Cola and
Office Depot.
