– Yahoo on Monday named
Blake Irving as its chief product officer, replacing Ari Balogh, who will leave
the company for personal reasons in June. The company also said that Prabhakar
Raghavan, who will continue as chief scientist at Yahoo Labs. Irving
was most recently a professor at Pepperdine
University’s Graziadio
School of Business and Management, and previously served as corporate vice
president of the Windows Live Platform group at  
Microsoft.
