– Tumblr, the provider of a simple blogging platform, has raised $5 million in its
third round of funding, from previous investors Spark Capital and Union Square
Ventures, All Things D reported.
The three-year-old, New York-based company counts
4.5 million users of its free blogging service, which lets users text, post
photos and other media to a simple, customizable template.
Tumblr blogs are not
generating 1 billion page views per month.
The company is currently rolling out
a number of new paid features to complement its free service.
