San Jose, Calif. – Immersion, a developer of touch-feedback
technology often used in video games, on Wednesday named board member Victor
Viegas, who led the company from 2002-2008, as its new CEO. Viegas, who had
been serving as interim CEO since the resignation of Clent Richardson in
October, joined the company in 1999, also serving as its CFO until 2005. He
retired as CEO in early 2008.
