New York
– Tremor Media, the operator of an online video ad network, announced on Wednesday
that it has raised $40 million in a new round of funding, led by Draper Fisher
Jurvetson Growth Fund.

Also participating were DFJ, Triangle Peak Partners,
Canaan Partners, Meritech Capital Partners and SAP Ventures.

New York-based
Tremor Media said it more than doubled the size of its online ad network over
the past year, which it says now reaches 90.6% of Internet users.

The company,
which became profitable in 2009, said it will use the new funds to invest in
research and development, and to expand into other media channels.
