Sunnyvale,
Calif. – Yahoo (NASD: YHOO) announced on
Monday that it will outsource its personals business to IAC’s (NASD: IACI) Match.com, and
migrate all current Yahoo Personals members to the Match service. Match.com,
which counted 5 million unique users in January, will now be linked from the
Yahoo homepage. The move follows Yahoo’s sale of its careers section to
HotJobs, and the transfer of control of Yahoo Health to Healthline Networks and
Yahoo Shopping to PriceGrabber.
