Calif. – Transpera, the provider
of a mobile video ad platform, announced on Wednesday that it has closed a $9
million third round of funding, led by BlackBerry Partners.
Previous backers Flybridge
Capital Partners, First Round Capital and Labrador Ventures also participated
in the round, proceeds from which will be used for further product development,
as well as to ramp up its sales team.
Calif.-based Transpera also announced the launch of its Attention Network, its interactive
mobile video ad network.
Publishers using the network include CBS News, MSNBC.com,
MTV Networks and Discovery.
