Los Angeles
– Collecta, the developer of a real-time search engine, announced on Thursday
that it has raised $4.7 million in new funding.

New investor Dace Ventures
joined previous backers including True Ventures in the round.

Founded in 2008, Collecta
provides a search service that indexes status updates and other posts in
real-time from services like Twitter, MySpace, WordPress and Flickr.
