Woodland Hills,
Calif.
– CrowdGather, a network
of special interest forums and enthusiast board communities, announced on
Thursday that it has acquired digital ad agency Adisn, in an all-stock deal
valued at $5.5 million.

Founded in 2007, Long Beach, Calif.-based Adisn uses
relationship data from the social Web to enhance ad targeting.

The company reported
revenues of $889,000 in 2009.

Woodland Hills,
Calif.-based CrowdGather said that the deal will provide it with a sales force
and its own ad serving platform.
