San Mateo,
Calif. – Attributor, the provider
of a content monitoring service for publishers, has raised $3.2 million in its
fourth round of financing, from Sigma Partners and Selby Venture Partners.
San
Mateo, Calif.-based Attributor’s service monitors the Web for potential
unauthorized uses of publishers’ works, and counts over 2,000 publishers as
clients.
The company also announced that it has partnered with the Magazine
Publishers of America and Periodical Publishers Association, to provide the
groups’ combined 3,000 publication members in the U.S.
and U.K.
with discounts on Attributor services.
