San Francisco
– Triggit, a provider of online advertising technology, has raised $4.2 million
in its first round of funding, led by Spark Capital and Foundry Group.

Also
participating in the round were previous backers Brett and Scott Crosby; Asher
Waldfogel; Ben Narison; Joe Spieser and Alex Zhardanovsky; Gilad Elbaz; Reid
Hoffman; TriplePoint Capital; DG Incubation; Joi Ito; Charles Sprincin; and
Eric Stein.

San Francisco-based Triggit offers a real-time bidding platform for
online advertising, which it says is capable of handling 15 billion
transactions a day.

The company will use the funds to support growth and
international expansion.
